My mom only had one eye. I hated her… She was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students and teachers to support the family.
There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me.I was so embarrassed. How could she do this tome? I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school one of my classmates said, ‘EEEE, your mom only has oneeye!’ I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to just disappear.
I confronted her that day and said, ‘ If you’re only gonna make me a laughing stock, why don’t you just die?’ My mom did not respond… I didn’t even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because I was full of anger. I was oblivious to her feelings.
I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her. So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.
Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. I had kids of my own. I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts.
One day, my Mother came to visit me. She hadn’t seen me in years and she didn’t even meet her grandchildren. When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited. I screamed at her, ‘Howdare you come to my house and scare my children!’ GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!’ And to this, my mother quietly answered, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address,’ and she disappeared out of sight.
One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house. So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip.
After the reunion, I went to the old shack just out of curiosity. My neighbors said that she died. I did not shed a single tear. They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have. ‘My dearest son, I think of you all the time. I’m sorry that I came to your house and scared your children. I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you. I’m sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were growing up. You see… when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn’t stand watching you having to grow up with one eye. So I gave you mine. I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye. With all my love to you, Your mother.’
No matter what, always appreciate your mother (and father as well.)
That’s it… Always keep in that they love you…
Customer Service (CS) Rep. : “Yes, Ma’am, how may I help you today?”
Customer: “Well, after much consideration, I’ve decided to install LOVE. Can you guide me through the process?”
CS Rep. : “Yes, I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?”
Customer: “Well, I’m not very technical, but I think I’m ready to install now. What do I do first?”
CS Rep. : “The first step is to open your HEART. Have you located your HEART ma’am?”
Customer: “Yes I have, but there are several other programs running right now. Is it okay to install while they are running?”
CS Rep. : “What programs are running ma’am?”
Customer: “Let’s see, I have PAST-HURT.EXE, LOW ESTEEM.EXE, GRUDGE.EXE, and RESENTMENT.COM running right now.”
CS Rep. : “No problem. LOVE will gradually erase PAST-HURT.EXE from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory, but it will no longer disrupt other programs. LOVE will eventually overwrite LOW-ESTEEM.EXE with a module of its own called HIGH-ESTEEM.EXE. However, you have to completely turn off GRUDGE.EXE and RESENTMENT.COM. Those programs prevent LOVE from being properly installed. Can you turn those off ma’am?”
Customer: “I don’t know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?”
CS Rep. : “My pleasure. Go to your Start menu and invoke FORGIVENESS.EXE. Do this as many times as necessary until GRUDGE.EXE and RESENTMENT.COM have been completely erased.”
Customer: “Okay, done. LOVE has started installing itself automatically. Is that normal?”
Cs Rep. : “Yes. You should receive a message that says it will reinstall for the life of your HEART. Do you see that message?”
Customer: “Yes I do. Is it completely installed?”
Cs Rep. : “Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other HEARTS in order to get the upgrades.”
Customer: “Oops. I have an error message already. What should I do?”
Cs Rep. : “What does the message say?”
Customer: “It says “ERROR 412 – PROGRAM NOT RUN ON INTERNAL COMPONENTS. What does that mean?”
Cs Rep. : “Don’t worry ma’am, that’s a common problem. It means that the LOVE program is set up to run on external HEARTS but has not yet been run on your HEART. It is one of those complicated programming things, but in non-technical terms it means you have to”LOVE” your own machine before it can “LOVE”others.”
Customer: “So what should I do?”
Cs Rep. : “Can you pull down the directory called”SELF-ACCEPTANCE”?”
Customer: “Yes, I have it.”
Cs Rep. : ” Excellent. You’re getting good at this.”
Customer: “Thank you.”
Cs Rep. : “You’re welcome. Click on the following files and then copy them to the”MY-HEART” directory: FORGIVE-SELF.DOC, REALIZE-WORTH.TXT, and ACKNOWLEDGE-LIMITATIONS.DOC. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching any faulty programming. Also, you need to delete VERBOSE-SELF-CRITIC.EXE from all directories,and then empty your recycle bin afterwards to make sure it is completely and permanently gone erased.”
Customer: “Got it. Hey! My HEART is filling up with new files. SMILE.MPG is playing on my monitor right now and it shows that PEACE.EXE, and CONTENTMENT.COM are copying themselves all over my HEART. Is this normal?”
Cs Rep. : “Sometimes. For others it takes a while, but eventually everything gets downloaded at the proper time. So, LOVE is installed and running. You should be able to handle it from here. One more thing before I go.”
Cs Rep. : “LOVE is freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everybody you meet. They will share it with other people and then return some similarly sacred modules back to you.”
Customer: “I will. Thanks for your help. By the way, what’s your name?”
Cs Rep. : ” You may call me the Divine Cardiologist, also known as The Great Physician, but most call me God. Many people feel all they need is an annual checkup to stay heart-healthy, but the Manufacturer suggests as schedule of daily maintenance for maximum efficiency. Put another way, keep in touch.

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feeling’s lived; Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge and all the other, including Love. One day it was announced to all of the feeling’s that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. All the feeling’s prepared their boats to leave but Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment. When the island was almost totally under water, Love decided it was time to leave.
She began looking for someone to ask for help, just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat, Love asked, “Can I come with you on your boat please? But he answered, I’m sorry but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat so there will be no room for you.”
Then love decided 2 ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel. Love cried out, help me please! “I can’t help you”, he said, you’re all wet and you’ll damage my beautiful boat.”
Next, Love saw Sadness, please let me go with u.” Sadness answered, “Love, I’m sorry, but, i just need to be alone now.”
Love saw Happiness, she cried out, “Happiness, please take me with you.” But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn’t hear Love calling to him.
Love began to cry. Then, she heard a voice say, “Come Love, I’ll take you with me.”
Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder. She then found Knowledge and asked, “Who was he that helped me when no one else would?”
“It was Time” knowledge answered.
“But why did Time help me when no one else would?”, Love asked.
Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered, “Because only Time is capable of understanding how great love is”.

~~~The Bible &; Your Cell Phone~~~
Can you imagine what would happen if we treated our Bible the same way we treat our cell phone?
*. If we always carried our Bible in our wallet, briefcase, on our belt, or in our purse?
*. If we looked through it several times a day?
*. If we went back to get it when we forgot it at home or at the office?
*. If we used it to send messages to our friends?
*. If we acted like we couldn’t live without it?
*. If we gave it as a gift to our young ones, for their own protection, and in order to stay in constant communication with them?
* And if we took it with us whenever we travel, just in case of an emergency?
Unlike a cell phone, the Bible never loses its signal:
We can connect with it anywhere.
We don’t have to worry about being low on minutes, because Jesus already paid the bill, and the minutes are unlimited.
And, best of all, there are no dropped calls, and the battery never loses its charge.
